With Vans Warped Tour musicians as a source of inspiration (as well as models for this collection), Emily's goal was to create clothing that fit within a musician's comfort zone, while having a unique enough twist to help them stand out as an Artist. Emily designed and developed this collection by drafting patterns in Optitex and fitting the final garments on performing musicians. This collection is not just for musicians though, each piece is marketable to the fans of these musicians as well. Many people idolize musicians, therefore having the opportunity to wear what your favorite artist is wearing allows fans to connect to the people that inspire them in a new way.
This project was recognized by the International Textile and Apparel Association and awarded the '2016 Student Design Award' by Optitex on November 8th, 2016.
