As a Designer for the Weisman Art Museum’s Design Showcase Fashion Show, “Likeness”, Emily’s goal was to display her strong appreciation of the process that goes into capturing photos manually.
To communicate this, Emily used light diffusers and film photographs that she manually captured, developed, and enlarged in a darkroom. By sculpting the diffusors, Emily created organic shapes moving in various directions; the overall movement represents all the options that one has when taking a photo.
